About Susan

Susan is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Wholehearted Consulting, LLC. She is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She brings a unique blend of clinical insight and operational expertise to her work—having served as a family therapist, program leader, operations executive, and board member across youth development, education, mental health, and housing sectors.

She founded Wholehearted Consulting to help mission-driven organizations align strategy, systems, and culture to maximize impact. Susan is trained in Brené Brown’s Dare to Lead™ curriculum and is a Predictive Index Certified Partner.

Whether working with leadership teams or contributing to child advocacy through her role as a Case Consultant with Colorado’s Office of the Child’s Representative, Susan leads with curiosity, integrity, and a deep commitment to equity and outcomes.

Based in Denver, she works with organizations across the U.S. Outside of spending time with family, Susan loves to sew, craft and create, engage in meaningful conversations, and eat dessert first!
